The twin brothers - Guava tree update
This five year old guava tree was air layerd and the top portion of the tree was planted separately. It is growing now very well, with more leaves and surprisingly it has started to flower and grow fruits.

Update - 3rd April 2011
The pics of bonsais were taken recently and posted below. The banyan bonsai was removed from the bigger pot, and potted into the flat plastic tub, since I was not able to get a bonsai pot in that dimension and length, also please note the aerial roots, I am trying to create an illusion by planting two similar saplings, they will joined to the main tree later.
The following tree was taken as a few weeks older sapling from my work place, and potted in a bigger pot. The tree developed a side branch and the upper part was dead, the side branch grown vigorously, I was continuously prunning the side branch. Now with excellent ramification the branch has given a complete shape to this tree, also note the nebari (bottom of the trunk), which is developing nicely.
